Methodology
The aim of this guide is to present how non-verbal techniques can be useful in both individual and group settings to facilitate the process of sharing life experiences and difficulties.
As it is a very delicate process, it requires specific preparation, professional competence, and group supervision.
Narration using non-verbal tools and projective techniques can also be explored in the prison context, given the inherent difficulty in verbally expressing and describing the challenges inmates face.
The suggested approach should be regarded as a flexible foundation and guideline on how to conduct the piloting sessions aimed at improving socio-emotional skills.
Instead of conducting focus groups with direct questions, we aim to experiment with a more creative approach with different techniques.
